Akuguzibwe is 32 years old, married, with five children who are all school-going. She operates a retail shop in Kagadi town which she started in order to supplement the income of her husband, so that they can ably meet their family's necessities. Her business is operated in a rented room and she primarily sells soft drinks, maize flour, and rice, among other items.
Akuguzibwe wants a loan of UGX 800,000/= (eight hundred thousand shillings) to pay school fees for her children since the husband cannot raise the fees, alone, from his business.
Akuguzibwe's dream is to educate their children up to higher levels of learning. However, her challenge is the limited capital in the business and the difficulty of generating enough money to pay school fees and grow the business at the same time. She would like the lender to always help her with the financial support to achieve her dreams.
