Fatuma is 43 years old and lives with her husband and her five children aged 18, 15, 12, 10, and 6, who are all still in school. She is a hard working business lady who owns a motorbike. She has been operating this business for the last five years, which has helped her gain much experience and regular customers. She plans to buy a new motorbike and hire a person to work on it. This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
