Pao is 54 years old. She is widowed and resides with seven children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice and fattening animals for more than two years, earning approximately $7 per day. Her daughter runs an electrical shop, earning about $3 a day. Three other children are employed in the factory, earning about $7 each day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Pao is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase more electrical goods to sell. This money will help her increase her stock and generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to run a phone repair shop for her son and build a new, bigger house to provide better living conditions for the family.
