Mom is 34 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in running a poultry farm for more than 2 years, earning approximately $2 daily. Her husband is a goldsmith who makes an income of $3 each day. Two of her children are also in the goldsmith business. They earn about $6 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Mom requested a loan of $1000 to purchase gold and silver to produce more jewelry to sell. By doing so, her husband would earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand the business and help her children earn bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house.
