Pedro is 61 years old and is married. He has worked as a farmer his whole life, a profession he learned from his parents. He gets up at 5 am to get ready and go to the land where he works. He and his wife walk 3 kilometers, carrying all of the farming supplies they need. Since they don’t have children to help, they work 21,000 square meters of corn themselves.
He will use the loan he is requesting through Fundación Campo to buy fertilizer, seeds, pesticides and herbicides. Before planting in the winter, since this is when the price of agricultural supplies goes up, he would like to buy a cow. He wants to buy more cows so he can process the milk and sell it.
