Fatuma is a widow with eight children. She lives in her own house in Kisauni with her children. She says she makes her living distributing water to her neighbours and passersby. She's been doing this for more than ten years and has quite a few customers because she does good work.
Fatuma's services are the best in town as evidenced by the courtesy she affords her customers which is highly praised by all. She says she is seeking help from Yehu Microfinance Trust because she wants to keep growing. She's requesting a loan to repair her water tank because she has only one and she needs to continue serving the large number of customers she has every day.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
