Lia is from the village Tsilkani, East Georgia. She is 27 years old and married and lives with her family, which consists of her husband and two infant children. Lia’s husband works as a security guard and gets a small monthly salary. In addition, he owns a tractor and services local farmers during tilling season, for which he receives a fee.
Lia has requested credit for cultivating agricultural land. She will cover the costs related to purchasing fuel for the tractor. The family will sow maize on the land and after proper seasonal work, Lia can count on a good harvest next year. They will sell the harvest for a convenient price, and this income will be used for the family's daily needs.
