Mlongo is married and works hard to support two children by buying and selling dried fish at the market. She requested 25,000 KES through Yehu Microfinance Trust in order to purchase dried fish. Mlongo has been in this business for the past 10 years.
In the future, Mlongo would like to send her kids to school and expand her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
