Estebana De Jesus
Estebana is 54 years old, married and has one nine year old son. She is originally from Managua, in the centre of the region. In her free time she really enjoys doing creative activities with her young son, like going to see films at the cinema. Unfortunately, due to a lack of financial resources, Estebana could not study at university as she had to work from a very young age to help with costs at home. Estebana is a hard-working and responsible woman who wants to overcome problems.

Thanks to her a strength and her desire to prosper and offer better conditions to her son. Estebana makes a living selling costume jewellery, which includes products such as hair decorations for girls and adults, combs, headbands, hairbands, wrapping paper, acrylic nails, nail varnish and hair dyes. Her business is situated in one of the area's markets. She does this work with great pleasure. Estebana works eight hours a day. The aim is to invest her credit in working capital and to buy products to stock up her business and sell. She hopes soon to be earning more money. Estebana thanks Kiva investors for the help they provide so that people with little resources have a decent job and for the help they provide to poor countries such as Nicaragua.

Estebana de 54 años de edad, casada con un hijo de 9 años, originaria de Managua, lugar que está ubicado en la zona central de la región. En sus ratos libres le gusta mucho disfrutar de actividades creativas con su pequeño hijo, como ir al cine ver películas. Lamentablemente por falta de recursos económico no pudo cursar una carrera universitaria, ya que desde muy joven tuvo que trabajar para ayudar con los gastos del hogar. Estebana se caracteriza por ser una mujer, trabajadora, responsables, con ganas de superación personal.
Gracias a su esfuerzo y sus ganas de salir adelante, y brindarle mejores condiciones a su hijo es que tiene por actividad económica la venta de bisutería que consisten en vender productos como adorno del cabello para niñas y adultos colas, peinetas, diademas, cintillos, papel de regalos, unas acrílicas, pinturas de unas, tintes para el cabello. El negocio lo tiene ubicado en unos de los mercados de la localidad. Actividad que la desempeña con mucho gusto. La rutina de trabajo de Estebana es trabajar unas 8horas diaria. El objetivo del crédito es invertir en capital de trabajo y surtir su negocio en la compra y venta de productos. Para que en un futuro no muy lejano obtener mejores ingresos. Estebana agradece la ayuda que los inversionistas kiva les brindan a personas de escasos recursos y países pobre como es Nicaragua para tener un medio de trabajo digno.
