Humphrey is 58 years old, married, and a father of five children. For the last two years, he has earned a living by selling water to Malindi residents. He earns a monthly profit of KES. 5,050.
He was introduced to Kenya Agency for Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET) by a credit officer and he is applying for his second loan of 30,000 KES to purchase a bigger water tank which is capable of holding more litres of water to sell to his clients.
He will use the profits made possible by this loan to pay for school fees for his last born child. Humphrey's goal for the future is to own a well-established water depot in the area, so as to help improve his family's living standards.
