Noonkokwa, age 37, is a milk vendor. She sells her wares at the local community center. She has been engaged in this business for the past five years and earns a monthly income of KES. 20,000. She and her husband Dominic have seven children.
Noonkokwa is taking out her third loan with KADET Ltd. She will use her loan funds to purchase a larger stock of milk. She will do this by buying more Jeri cans of milk on a daily basis.
She will use the anticipated profit to open another business, which she believes will enable her to generate enough income to better support the family. Her goal is to provide her family with a better standard of living.
