Gorret is married with three children and all her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members. She has a drug shop business and has been in this business for 10 years selling to all categories of people but on a retail basis only. She has applied for a loan of Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more boxes of syrups and tablets. She generates additional income from rental rooms. She works in a shop that she rents and works seven days a week. Her major business challenge includes seasonality and defaulters. She aspires to own a fully stocked drug shop and also to build more rental rooms. She resides in her own house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees, rent for her business, and feeding the family.
