He puts forth great effort day to day for his family. He is very hard-working, and he has been growing corn and beans for some time. The small amount of time he has spent on farming has gifted him with experience that allows him to do good work. It also gives him the opportunity to get good income.
He is proud because he has managed for the crops to give him good results. The land he farms gives him the best harvests. That is why the customers prefer him for the quality, good price, and excellent service. His goal is to have better profits that will help him fulfill his dreams.
He has the conviction that if he increases his sales he will increase the income. That is why he is requesting a loan that will allow him to buy bean and corn seeds, herbicide, and manure, etc. He is grateful for the help that he will receive. He also has the hope that God will not abandon him, and that he will be able to repay the debt. He is also certain that this way he will be able to give his family the quality of life that they deserve.
More information about this loan
This loan is part of a pilot project Apoyo Integral is launching in conjunction with several local NGOs to support at-risk youth and their families with funding from Kiva. This loan product is tailored to young people who find themselves in high-risk situations because they are located in areas affected by extreme violence. Loans are combined with vocational, technical, and financial training to help these young people develop business ideas that will help them generate income, reintegrate into society, and support their dreams of being productive and contributing members of society.
Due to potential safety risks facing these youth, some of the loans are being disbursed to their parents in order to protect their identities. For the same reason, the faces of some Apoyo Integral borrowers may be blurred in photos. Apoyo Integral appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to provide much-needed support to at-risk Salvadoran youth.
