Margaret
She is a single mother with two children. Though not married, she is the bread-winner in the family. She lives in Musang, in the North West region of Cameroon.

She has struggled in life to earn a living for her family. It was not easy for her to raise business capital until she saw GHAPE as a source of relief and became a beneficiary. This is her ninth year as a GHAPE member and her previous loan repayments were satisfactory.

As a very hard-working lady, she plans to invest her loan in a buy and sell business and part of the loan will be spent on crop farming. She is highly convinced this business will succeed because she goes and buys from the “bush market” in bulk. Also she has good experience in business and has a good business location.

She plans to use the profit from the business to pay for her children’s school fees, assist her younger brother to pay his apprentice fee, give good medication to her children whenever they are sick and also to ensure they are well fed.

She prefers to receive loans from GHAPE because the rate of interest is low, the method of payment is comfortable and convenient and also because of the training GHAPE offers before disbursing her loan.
