Ana Maria, a member of the Village Bank Arco Iris, is 37 years old, married, and the mother of two children. She lives in the district of San Juan Bautista, a province of Huamanga. Ana Maria has a store in her home where she sells groceries, meat, and vegetables; she also has a smaller store where she sells vegetables, chicken and condiments. She is able to maintain both businesses with the help of her daughter.
Ana Maria now needs a loan of $350, money which will be invested in the purchase of rice, sugar, and oil.
Her dreams are to develop her business and to give her children a good education.
