The Nuevos Senderos communal bank has nine enterprising women members who fight every day to improve the economic stability of their homes and to move their families forward. The members are nice, charismatic women who still maintain the culture and traditions of their people. They live in the city of Cuenca, where there are different places to enjoy nature, colonial architecture, its cuisine and the warmth of its people.

One of the members in this group is Etelvina. She is making her first loan with the Nuevos Senderos communal bank. She was invited by a neighbor who has been a member for some time. She lives in the Narancay community in the city of Cuenca.

Etelvina is 44 years old, married and she has six children. Two children are studying at the university. They work and help her economically. One of her children is only studying at the university. Her three other children are young and study at a school in the city. Her husband works in the mining industry. The house where they live is their own.

Etelvina takes care of her family but two months ago, she started selling organic coffee which is very good for one’s health. Little by little, this business has gained more customers. At her house, she raises chickens and plants vegetables.
Her new loan will be invested in the purchase of coffee for her new business.

Her goal is to grow her business.

El banco comunal Nuevos Senderos está formado por 9 mujeres emprendedoras que luchan día a día para mejorar la estabilidad económica de sus hogares y sacar adelante a sus familias, las socias son mujeres amables, gentiles y carismáticas que aun mantienen la cultura y tradiciones de sus pueblos. Viven por la ciudad de Cuenca lugar que goza de diferentes lugares para disfrutar de la naturaleza, de la arquitectura colonial, de su gastronomía y el calor de su gente.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora. Etelvina, está realizando su primer crédito en el banco comunal Nuevos Senderos al cual fue invitada por una vecina quien ya es socia hace algún tiempo, vive por la comunidad de Narancay en la ciudad de Cuenca.

Doña Etelvina tiene 44 años, es casada y fruto de su unión conyugal ha concebido 6 hijos, dos estudian en la universidad, trabajan y le ayudan económicamente, uno de sus hijos solo se dedica a los estudios universitarios, sus tres últimos hijos son pequeños y estudian en una escuelita de la ciudad. Su esposo labora en la minería, la casa en la que viven es propia.

La Señora. Etelvina se dedica al cuidado de su familia, pero desde hace 2 meses vende café orgánico que es muy bueno para la salud, en este negocio poco a poco va obtenido mas clientela. En su casa se dedica a la cría de pollos y a sembrar hortalizas.

Su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de café para su nuevo negocio.

Su meta crecer su negocio.
