William started a small hardware shop in 1997 as his major source of income to look after the family. He operates this business in the outskirts of Kagadi Town, and his major clients are residents of his village.

William wants a loan of 3,000,000 UGX (three million shillings) to buy more stock of cement and other hardware materials to meet the demand for construction materials. He anticipates getting more profits if he is funded. He will also be in a better position to educate his children as well as to put up a permanent house for the family. However, his major challenge is the weather, most especially if it rains, making transportation difficult. There is also a lot of competition in the market.

William would like the lender to offer different loan products to help alleviate of poverty.
