She is a very hard working tailor by profession and has excellent skills in stitching female clothing. Due to financial issues, she has started her tailoring business by purchasing a sewing machine. Since 2005 Surriya has been operating this business very efficiently. She is interested in expanding her business by purchasing one more sewing machine. Surriya, as a member of 3-person lending group, has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan.
She is hopeful that the loan will help her to increase her net income and savings.
