Rosemarie is 30 years old and married with three children. She lives in Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental. She owns and manages an agricultural business, which is planting and harvesting corn to sell in the local community. She's been with her business for more than three years and earns 2,000 PHP each month. Rosemarie joined GDMPC in 2012, and now she is requesting a loan of 5,000 PHP to purchase fertilizer such as manure. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from her business to improve and expand her business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
