However, she received a financial offer from a hospital, and so she started to work there every day. She earns a good wage, which allows her to support her daughter. During this work, she rented out her food shop with the hope of being able to return to work there and increase her earnings.
Now, she wants to make home improvements, thereby giving her daughter a good quality of life. She already has her own bedroom, according to Noemi. She belongs to the “Niño Jesús” (Baby Jesus) community bank, and this is her first loan with MFP. She is grateful for the opportunity to move forwards, and promises to make her repayments in time. She also likes belonging to her bank, where everyone is united.
Noemi will invest the money in remodeling her daughter's room, for which she will buy building materials.
Noemí, invertirá el dinero en la remodelación de la habitacion de su hija, para ello comprará materiales de construcción.
About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
