Hajara is married and has five children, only two of her children go to school. She buys and sells cattle. She has applied for a loan of 1,500,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more cattle for resale. She has been in this business for 5 years and sells at the market once a week but sells on wholesale only. Her major business challenges include transportation and lack of enough capital to boost her business. She aspires to own a delivery van to ease transportation. She also hopes to pay school fees and to build rental houses. She resides in her own house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include paying for utility bills and school fees.
