Augustine is a 33-year-old married man with a child living in Kamwenge, Uganda. He runs a hardware shop and with the proceeds he has been able to buy land and build a residential house. Like most traders in a developing world, he faces hardships due to inadequate capital and the high cost of living. He also grows maize which he supplies to schools and prisons. He is a good father who is determined to change his future and that of his children by educating them up to the university while his business plan is to expand to other markets. Augustine intends to use the loan to buy hardware items such as nails, cement and rods to sell.
