José Daniel is from the village of Xexuj, Paraje El Sauce, and for the last four years has had a grocery store; his secondary source of income is raising fine fighting cocks. José heard about FAPE and Kiva through a family member who has a Kiva loan. José wants to expand the store stocking it with more new products like bran, feed concentrate, corn, beans, soft-drinks, juices and other basic staples. Jose’s great advantage is that the store is located at the side of the highway and it’s a very busy area. José would like FAPE to help him and he commits to be very responsible and punctual with his loan.
