Orleidis, 21, works selling dairy products, especially yogurt and cheese; she also sells cold cuts. She lives with her spouse and little one-year-old son in the southwest of the city where most of her customers are; she sells to them at retail. Her goal is to expand her stock to increase sales potential because she knows her business and has done very well with what she’s accomplished to date.

She sells from home heading out daily at 8 in the morning to distribute it and doesn’t stop selling until 7 at night; she sells both for cash and on credit.

She’s currently applying for a Kiva loan to buy yogurt by the liter she has on order and to buy larger amounts of cheese taking advantage of the fact that the latter is in high demand because it’s consumed during festive events because it’s served as a snack and is the base for many dishes people prepare to consume or to sell. Her goal is to stock up with it and to have a shop of her own so that someday by working hard she’ll reach her dream of prosperity and be able to buy an apartment.
