Jeannette
Jeannette is a 57 year old married woman and mother to 8 children. One of them still goes to school. She is a shopkeeper and has been selling fresh food (maniocs, plantains) retail according to the seasons in a local market for 10 years. She has good knowledge of suppliers, and especially of her clientele which she acquired with time thanks to her experience in this field. But she finds herself constantly with stock shortages because she is obliged to sell all her stock in order to be able to get more. This is because of her small capital. She would like to buy a pick-up truck load of bunches of plantains to have a good stock which will allow her to better satisfy the constant demands of her clientele and to avoid stock shortages. She will save her profits to not only expand her business but also to meet the needs of her family.
