Nelson is 24 years old and married to Esther. He has a food stall from which he sells various types of foods such as sausages, chips, as well as fried and boiled eggs. He has been in this business in Thika town for the past three years. The business has been profitable since it has enabled him to support his two siblings by paying their school fees.
This will be Nelson's first loan term and he plans to use the loan amount to buy a cooking pan and meshed wire frame for preparing the sausages and chips. He also plans to buy more stock of eggs for use in the business.
Nelson hopes to grow his business and make more income so as to open a restaurant.
