Ricardo
Ricardo is 60 years old and lives in a home on his land together with his family. Ricardo grows basic grains such as corn and beans as his main source of income. He has done this activity for a long time and it is how he makes an honest living. He is a very responsible and honest man who is dedicated to his job. He is well-known by his neighbors who provide good references of his work and of himself. Every year he repeats this activity since he is a very humble person with scarce resources who could not have any other type of business or job. This year, just like the previous years, he has decided to farm, and since the sowing period is approaching, he wants to be prepared with the necessary agricultural supplies for harvesting the main basic grains. This is the reason why he is requesting this loan from INTEGRAL. He will use this loan to buy agricultural supplies such as seeds, fertilizers, and insecticides, and also to pay the rent for a land parcel where he has his main crops. In this manner, he hopes to succeed in growing the main basic grains this year in order to feed his family every day.
