She doesn't have expenses and all her profits are reinvested in the business. With the loan, she would like to diversify the products she sells and satisfy her client demands. This will give her more financial autonomy.

Ils sont au nombre de cinq, dont quatre femmes et un homme qui habitent le même quartier. Ils ont appelé leur groupement : Beugue Ligueye. Ils font du commerce et veulent diversifier leurs produits c’est pourquoi ils sont venus solliciter l’appui de l’IMCEC.
La présidente, madame Rokhaya, âgée de 34 ans est mère d’une petite fille de 3 ans. Elle s’active dans la vente de tissus et cela depuis 2 ans. Elle n’a pas de charges et son bénéfice est reversé dans l’activité. Avec le crédit, elle pourra aussi diversifier ses produits et satisfaire sa clientèle qui en demande toujours plus ; et de là, avoir sa propre autonomie financière.

This loan is administered by UIMCEC, a Kiva Field Partner in Senegal since 2008. UIMCEC is a government-regulated microfinance institution whose mission is to improve the revenue and well-being of families through access to financial services, allowing principally women and young adult micro-entrepreneurs living in rural and semi-rural areas to develop their revenue-generating businesses and supporting them in becoming financially self-sufficient.
