Sarah is a 34-year-old married woman with two children living in Masindi, Uganda. She is a school bursar, and three years ago she decided to set up a retail shop in order to earn extra income. Like most traders, she faces challenges of price fluctuation and high license fees.
Being the good mother that she is, she aims to educate her children, helping them attain degrees as minimum qualification so that they can be employed in reputable organizations.
Sarah intends to use the loan to buy general merchandise such as cooking oil and salt to sell in her shop.
