Ms. Shamshad is 29 years old, a married woman, running a business of milk sales with the support of her husband. The man shown in the photo is Shamshad’s husband. They have 12 years of experience in the field. They have two buffaloes in milk and sell their milk to many of their neighbors, along with butter and cheese that they make from the milk. Shamshad looks after the buffaloes and performs the task of collecting milk from them while her husband sells it to different places on daily basis. They are happily doing it together to support their family.

They have five children and they need to earn much more to meet their everyday expenditures including food, clothing and education. In order to make more profit, they requested a loan of Rs 45,000 to buy one more buffalo to cater for more customers. They hope to have an increase in their production capacity which ultimately will help in generating more cash.
