Fassoun
Mr. Fassoun is 47 years old and lives with his spouse and five children in the town of Faraba. Faraba is in the sub-prefecture of Kourouba in the region of Koulikoro.

Fassoun did not have the opportunity to go to school. At an early age, he became interested in revenue generating activities - notably the sale of grains and miscellaneous items. He learned about this business from his uncle on his mother's side who was a big miscellaneous items seller.

In the hopes of satisfying his clientele during significant growth, he decided to partner with Soro Yiriwaso. This is his fourth individual loan, which will help him buy a significant inventory of various boutique items from wholesalers from Bamako - as well as 500 kilos of rice.

He sells at retail to a mixed clientele in Faraba and neighboring villages for credit and cash.

Fassoun would like to earn an average monthly profit of 90.000 FCFA, which he'll use to reimburse the loan and to reinvest in his businesses.
