José is 33 years old and lives in the house on his property together with his life companion and their children. He has made a living from agriculture for many years. José cultivates the primary basic grains like: rice, beans and corn. He repeats this activity each year as it’s the only way he knows how to make a living. He is a very hard-working, responsible and entrepreneurial person. He works very hard to bring the daily bread home, as he doesn’t have any source of income other than agriculture. Because of this he has made the decision to ask for a loan from INTEGRAL to invest in the purchase of fertilizers, pesticides and seeds. With much trust in God and in his work he hopes to have an abundant crop so he can sell one part and leave the other part for consumption. He hopes to fulfill his dream of giving his family a better quality of life.
