Hernando is 59 years old and after visiting surgeons, spas, clinics, and people he advises to buy postsurgical shape ware that they request. Things have gone well for him in this business that he started three years ago to support his family, made up of his wife and eleven year old daughter. His number of customers is constantly increasing because of his style of service with which he offers his products. This is very important for his business’ growth, but he has a great challenge of not having enough working capital to respond to his customer demand. This has made him request a loan through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, where he has been associated with the “Yo Prospero” program for 18 months and he is building his dream of prosperity. This loan will allow him to increase his working capital which he can invest into his business. This Kiva loan will be his second loan which he will use to buy girdles, shapers and surgical items which he sells the most of. He plans to increase his buying so that he can increase his income. He wants to increase his profits so that he can get his daughter ahead and provide her the opportunity to be successful by providing her opportunities for education.
