Mwanakombo is 40 years old. She is married to Hamadi and blessed with four children. They live together in the town of Msambweni, Kenya. All of the children are still in school. For the last 10 years, Mwanakombo has been operating a restaurant which, all along, has helped her to provide for her family and pay for her children's school fees. Her restaurant has grown. Given that this is a low season for hoteling institutions, she wants to take advantage and repair her restaurant in preparation for the next season which is likely to be late March. She hopes that by then her restaurant will have resumed and picked up well.
Mwanakombo is therefore approaching Yehu for a loan of 30,000 Kenyan shillings which she will use to repair the restaurant and replace a few things needed fast before the season knocks. She is grateful for the opportunity.
