Natia is 31 years old and married. She is from the village of Vedreba, in the Kareli district where she lives with her family: her husband, three children, parents-in-law, and a retired grandmother. Natia’s husband and father-in-law are truck drivers who transport sand and also wood from the forest to sell to villagers. Together, Natia’s family manages the agricultural land that they own. They grow garlic and apple and sell the harvested products at the local open market.
Natia is requesting a loan to change the tires and motor oil on their truck. The old tires are in bad condition and are dangerous for her husband and father-in-law.
