Linda is 67 years old and married with four children. She lives in Clarin, Misamis Occidental. She owns and operates an agriculture business, selling unhulled rice. She's been with her business for five years. She earns 6,200 PHP in income every month.
Linda joined GDMPC in the year 2007, and she is requesting a loan of 7,500 PHP to purchase a vehicle for the rice grains. She wants to make improvements on her house and to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
