Jaime Alberto
Jaime is 42 years old and lives southwest of the city with his spouse and their 14 year old son. He works on a farm where he grows fruits, greens and vegetables. He also has a business selling athletic shoes and men’s clothing, taking advantage of his spouse’s work in a clothing factory where he obtains better prices for the products that they make. He also buys from specialized shopping centers that offer good prices. He sells on credit and plans to increase his stock because his goal is to grow his business so that he can purchase his own home. Since this is a huge challenge he must do it little by little. This is why he is currently applying for a Kiva loan with which he will buy jeans, men’s sweaters and athletic shoes, which he has ordered and is part of his strategy to grow his business.
