Ricardo tiene 58 años de edad y se dedica a la distribución de carne de res, desde hace 5 años. Su negocio fue trasmitido de generación en generación, pues toda su familia se ha dedicado a esa actividad; sus principales clientes son las tiendas, a quienes vende toda clase de carne, molida, hígado, costillas etc. El diariamente inicia su jornada, desde las 4 de la mañana hasta las 12 del dia y de lunes a sábado. Su principal proveedor es el matadero mas importante de la región, a quien le compra a crédito y de contado, para vender su producto de contado. En la actualidad está aplicando a un credikiva, primer financiamiento que hace a la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, con el cual comprará en mayor volumen, carne de res, para continuar con su propósito de ampliar la base de clientes y finalmente ganar más, para ayudar a sus nietos en el logro de estudios con calidad.
