Mwahanje, 35 years old, lives with his wife and six children in the rural area of Mwambalazi. Over ten years ago, he decided to open a retail shop in his home. Thanks to effort and hard work, Mwahanje's business has expanded. He now has a steady clientele because of the good and friendly service he provides to his customers. Mwahanje also operates a motorcycle taxi business serving the rural area.
Mwahanje is requesting a loan to purchase a water tank so that he can have fresh water in his home. He will also buy merchandise for his store.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
