Mwanaisha is from the city of mombasa. She is married with five children and works as a merchant. She has been the owner of a food store for two years. She is making headway with the business having attracted a good number of customers who appreciate her very well-stocked store. She is a very enthusiastic person who wants to keep growing and investing in her business so that she can help with the household expenses and continue to improve her business over time.
She is requesting a loan to invest in drinks, dairy products, bread, vegetables and other merchandise. This way, she can continue to provide customers with a good variety of products and also attract new customers. She is requesting a loan of 50,000 KES and it is projected to be enough to restock her business.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
