Kasyula, 32, is married, has three children and lives with them in Mwambalazi, province of Coast. She sells fruits and vegetables for a living and also does farming.
She is requesting a loan to buy fruits and vegetables, such as pineapples, bananas, kale, onions, cabbage, and oranges. Her goal is to have several businesses. The challenge she is up against is the high price of the products.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
