Dora Clemencia
Dora, 52, lives in the city of Cartagena, a historic and beautiful city in the Caribe region of Columbia. She set up her home there and lives with her partner and their two children, aged 18 and 22. She runs a beauty salon, which primarily offers haircuts and treatments to ladies, gentlemen and young people. She also sells products from specialist magazines and promotes perfumes, lotions, toiletries, dyes etc. which she recommends to her customers to complement their purchase.

Her working day starts at 6 in the morning and ends at 9 in the evening, Monday to Sunday. All her effort is motivated by a desire to improve the well being of herself and her family.

She is applying for this loan, the first loan that she has had with Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, which she will use to buy hair products, hair dressing supplies, creams and lotions. Her sales are made on a credit and cash basis to a customer base that she has built up since she started her business 10 years ago. Her current goal is to support her children so that they can study at university and in the future she would like to have her own store, these are her main challenges in life.

Dora de 52 años de edad vive en la ciudad de Cartagena, histórica y hermosa ciudad en la Región Caribe Colombiana. Allí conformó su hogar y habita con su cónyuge y sus 2 hijos en las edades de 18 a 22 años. Ella ofrece en un punto de atención, el servicio de mejoramiento de la imagen personal; es su sala de bellezas realiza cortes de cabello, tratamientos capilares, peinados, a damas, caballeros y a jóvenes principalmente; así mismo vende mercancía mediante guías especializadas de productos, con la cual promociona perfumes, cremas, artículos de aseo, tintes, etc, mediante asesoría que da a su clientela, para potencializar su compra. Su día laboral inicia desde las 6 de la mañana y terminas solo hasta las 9 de la noche, de lunes a domingos, y todo este esfuerzo es motivado por el mejoramiento del bienestar de su familia y el suyo propio. En la actualidad está aplicando aun credikiva, primer financiamiento que hace a la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, mediante el cual comprará productos capilares, insumos de peluquería, cremas y colonias. Sus ventas las realiza a crédito y de contado, a una clientela, que ella misma ha construido desde que inició su negocio hace 10 años. En la actualidad su principal meta es apoyar a sus hijos, para que logren completar sus estudios universitarios y mas adelante tener un local propio y estos son sus principales desafíos de vida.
