Noelina is married with three children and all her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members. She has a business selling used shoes. She has applied for a loan of 400,000 UGX from MCDT SACCO to buy more bales of used shoes. She has been in this business for eight years and works at the market seven days a week but on a retail basis. Her major business challenges include seasonality and thieves. She is aspiring to become a wholesaler and build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity but not to piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and school fees.
