Didas is married with five children, three of whom are in school. He trades in coffee, whenever it is in-season. Didas works seven hours, seven days per week. His other source of income is that of motorcycle-riding and repairing motorcycles in a nearby trading center. He started the business in 2008, in Karama-Burungira Kyabugimbi sub-county. The business was purposely started to make money, to earn a living.
The purpose of the loan is to buy more coffee for sale. Didas sells his coffee after removing the husks, which he sells to farmers for mulching, as well. He hopes to start up a factory when he gets enough money out of his businesses. The challenges to his business are price fluctuations during bumper harvest and bad weather. He is a committed and hard-working man. He requests that lenders reduce interest.
