Hace 18 meses inicio con su pulpería anteriormente vendía prendas de oro marca zafiro, con sus utilidades fue poco a poco comprando productos de pulpería hasta lograr su meta, el crédito lo invertirá en la compra de productos de pulperías como granos básicos arroz, aceite, frijoles, azúcar, carne de res, carne de pollo, productos lácteos, productos de la delmor, jabón de lavar, jabón de baño, cosméticos populares, medicamentos populares etc. Marlene vende calzados por catálogos y Marlene del Socorro tiene una pulpería en su domicilio.
