Teddy is married with eight children, and five of her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members. She has business of poultry farming and has been in this business for eight years, selling to all categories of people but wholesale only, six days a week. She has applied for a loan of Uganda shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more bags of chicken feed.
She generates additional income from selling motor vehicle scrap. She works at the market .Her major business challenges include thieves and seasonality. She is aspiring of owning a delivery van to ease transportation and also buying a plot of land and building rental rooms. She resides in a rented house and the family has no access to electricity or piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and school fees.
