Robert, aged 48, who acquired a loan of 500,000 Uganda Shillings (UGX), is married and has 4 children, all of them at school.
His business is a retail shop which he has operated for over 10 years.
He also has a carpentry workshop which he hopes to expand if he gets money to buy modern equipment.
He works 12 hours a day and 6 days a week. His customers are people around the town in which he operates.
He has borrowed money to buy more stock so that he can generate some income before school starts. His major challenge is that of paying school fees, given that he is disabled because of the terrible accident that befell him in August, which has made him crippled to the extent of using crutches. He also has inadequate capital to expand his business.
He is a hard-working person who believes that a thousand miles begin with one.
