Nancy lives in Sinkor, an area where the living conditions are similar to those of central Monrovia. She is 40 year old, married, and has two children, ages 3 and 13. For the past four years she has been running a table market where she sells palm oil, rice, pepper, and other items. She started this business by selling plantain chips, with help from her mother. She learned her sales skills from her mother. She likes her business because it gives her more profits and makes her popular. She is requesting a loan to buy more palm oil, rice, pepper, etc. for her business. She wants to earn more money to build a house since she already has a piece of land.
