Yelen is a 32-year-old married woman and a mother of two children ages eight and six. They live in Bien Unido, Bohol, Philippines. Yelen has been engaged in a fishing business together with her husband for more than seven years now. Yelen needs a loan to buy new fishing nets, lead weights, floaters and other fishing materials. With a loan, Yelen and her husband will be able to improve their fishing business and augment their income.
Yelen dreams of expanding their business and making it sustainable so that it will generate more money necessary for the needs of the family especially for the schooling of their children.
