Khalil is a Lebanese married man. He’s 51 years old and has two working children. They are really attached and do not hesitate to cooperate together for a better and respectable way of living.
Khalil started his business in 2004. He had to work really hard to prove that he’s a necessary support for his family. He sells car spare parts and has gained a fair number of customers asking for his services. Today, he’s asking for a loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to buy added spare parts in order to respond rapidly to his clients’ problems. He believes that acting properly is really essential to attracting more and new customers. He seeks to develop his work in the near future and better support his family.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
